Lettuce Jam is happening rain or shine! As farmers we are always wishing we could control the weather and we’ll be hoping for another beautiful sunny day but if not— sorry, no refunds.
Kids under 12 are free!
We love all furry friends, but pets are not allowed (except those who are medically necessary).
No outside food or drink will be permitted but don’t worry, we will have plenty of options available for purchase, and free water stations around the festival grounds.
The festival is held on land we love very much, and that we spend a lot of our time with! Please, no disrupting the plants or animals and stick to designated Lettuce Jam areas when wandering the beautiful property.
Meet the Lettuce Jam 2024 bands!
Jamgrass, newgrass, funkgrass, whatever you want to call it Armchair Boogie is rapidly becoming one of the country’s hottest acts. With an unbounded sound, this Wisconsin-based quartet is known for their powerful harmonies, timeless originals, and choice covers, along with unforgettable live performances. Listed as a “Must-See Roots Artists at Bourbon & Beyond'' by The Bluegrass Situation who wrote, “We recently caught this jammy Wisconsin outfit at Earl Scruggs Music Festival, where they burnt down their late-night set.”
Armchair Boogie is Augie Dougherty on banjo with Ben Majeska acoustic & electric guitars backed by tight, driving rhythms of Eli Frieders on electric bass and Denzel Connor on drums. This unconventional lineup enhances their lightning-fast bluegrass, allowing them to freely venture into the realms of funk or country. A band on the verge, Armchair Boogie is excited to independently release their 4th studio recording, Hard Times & Deadlines, on March 15.
Drawing from the bands musically diverse influences, you’ll hear everything from The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Grateful Dead, Phish and Whitney Houston, to Gregg Allman & The Band in their original music.
Coupled with a stage presence like Tina Turner, the ensemble displays genre-bending versatility and mesmerizing synchronicity during their energetic live shows.
Their lyrical setlist transports listeners through the full spectrum of emotions and the crowd mirrors an ever-changing portrait of expression; bright smiles, animated stomping, choral shouting, and wiping away a rolling tear before anyone sees.
Their infectious stage presence is punctuated with heartfelt words of encouragement from lead vocalist, Teresa Marie, who emphasizes their overarching message of love and positivity. The band that surrounds her, frames her message, like a psychedelic kaleidoscope painting full of color, straight out of the 70’s.
Feed the Dog is an eclectic and action-packed, experimental jam-grass act. The midwest based 4-piece masterfully blends soul-pleasing songwriting rich in imagery and storytelling with a genre bending, shake-your-hips, instrumental flair. Their high energy performances are driven by the unique and progressive approach of each player: imaginative melodies with graceful ambiance skillfully crafted on the violin, tireless beats both dynamic and soulful confidently assembled on the drums, driving low end with finesse and intention forged on the bass guitar, and unique approach to playing the acoustic guitar blending fast picking bluegrass runs with the strength of blues and rock to evoke an emotional contrast between melancholy and hopeful.
The band started in July of 2015 and has been relentlessly playing festivals, theaters, and clubs alongside regional and national touring acts.
"Ding Dang" the band's third full length album released September 2021, out now.
Led by Ben Majeska of Armchair Boogie and Trevor Northsoul, Wonderfunk features a rotating cast of all-star musicians on a mission to funk things up. Each live performance delivers gold in the form of soul, tappin' feet from stanky beats, and fires off like your mother-in-law after one too many martinis. Have you the moxie to mettle with the beast that is Wonderfunk? The time is nigh, the vibes are high, and toast is occasionally rye.
Kiernan is the Minneapolis-based musical project of Laura Kiernan, who is very excited to be in a band. Their music can be described as "sounds for when you're feeding the pigeons." In other words: soft, silly, spacious and best done with friends. She and the band hope it nourishes your ears like a nice hunk of bread

Campsites are located just beyond the stage and festival area, with a separate quiet camping area just beyond that. Campsites all have access to port-a-johns, drinking water, trash, and of course the festival grounds for additional drinks and food! Remember, outside food and drink is not permitted, but bring your reusable water bottles! Campers should arrive as soon as they can to set up their tents so as to disrupt events as little as possible. Tent campers will not have car access to camping area so pack light— UTVs will be available on and off during the day to help you down to the valley, but space is limited so please plan ahead! RV and car campers will have their own area a little farther from the main event space. These spots are 20’x20’, so plan accordingly! Those purchasing RV/ car camping need to purchase an entry ticket for every member of their party, but need only one RV pass! Car and RV campers will receive special instructions via email before the fest.

Coming from Madison: Continue West on Highway 151 from Madison for about 20 miles until reaching County Road K. You will turn left/head South onto K. Continue down K for 9.3 miles and you’ve made it! Wonka’s Harvest and Lettuce Jam is to the left. Look for a large hand painted sign. Once you are up the initial driveway, take the first left under the wooden posts. Proceed to the ticketing booth to get checked in and head to parking after.

Beer, cocktails, sparkling water, and other beverage options will be available to purchase at our drinks tent during festival hours. Outside food and drink not permitted. Bring your reusable water bottles to keep hydrated at our water stations.

Join owner Patty Grimmer & farm manager Anna Gebarski for a walking tour of our farm! We will discuss our no-till processes, point out some of our favorite things to grow, and say hi to our pasture-raised piggies! Come with your questions about Wonka's Harvest & no-till farming.
Medicinal Plant Walk
Join farm manager, Abigail Miller, on a walk through our beautiful valley. We will see, taste, and discuss a variety of wild medicinal plants. You'll recognize many of the plants we discuss and maybe learn about a few new ones!
DIY Tie-Dye

The Wonders of Worm Composting and Macroinvertebrate Identification
Are you curious how to build relationships with the soil food web? Have you been wanting to start composting your food scraps at home? In this workshop we will learn all about composting with red wiggler worms. Wonka's Harvest's Crew Lead, Ravine Kolden, will show you how to build and care for a worm bin, how to make aerated compost tea, and how to incorporate worm composting into your garden. Along the way we will meet several composting organisms, and learn nifty facts about their life cycles.
Strawbale Gardening
Come learn about the composting magic of Strawbale Gardening with community member Paul Matthews! Find out how you can use the humble strawbale to grow all of your favorite veggies and flowers with no weeding, minimal bending, and less watering.
Yin-Lates With Carrin
Join me for a unique fusion of core-strengthening Pilates and meditative Yin Yoga. In this heart-centered class, we align breath with movement to promote inner peace and physical harmony. Perfect for all levels, our practice will enhance your well-being through gentle yet powerful exercises.

Is there a hotel near by? The closest hotels near the farm are in Dodgeville, Mineral Point, and Barneveld.
Can we camp? Yes!! We would love you all to camp with us. There is a small fee you will add in your check out. We have plenty of space in our beautiful valley and a designated family zone!
Are kids allowed? Kids under 12 are free. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Can I bring my dog? Sorry no pets allowed! Only medically necessary animals.
Can we see the farm? We will have a farm tour where you can see and learn all about the farm. You can even meet the piggies! We do ask that you stay in the festival grounds an do not wonder the farm unless it is during the tour please.
Can I swim in the pond? Sure! We love taking a dip on a warm day. Swim at your own risk!
Can I sell my ticket? Yep! Please email us with the original email that was used for payment of ticket. Let us know the name change and new email address!
