Patty Grimmer
Majority Owner and Co-founder
Patty spent her childhood outside and around the company of good people and good food in Madison. With a strong passion blooming for food sovereignty during her early college years, Patty decided to pursue degrees in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management and Environmental Education and Communication at the University of Minnesota. During her time in the Twin Cities, Patty worked with community organizations and the University of Minnesota Extension to facilitate and distribute resources and education for folks with low access to affordable and fresh produce. She and her previous partner decided to start Wonka’s Harvest in 2020 as the pandemic exacerbated the existing inequity of food security. Patty strives to continue integrating her background of environmentalism and education with creative solutions to support the food justice movements within the surrounding Madison communities.
