Ravine grew up in Viroqua, WI and has been in the organic and regenerative farming realm for most of her life. After graduating from Laurel High School, she went to college at Fairhaven College in Bellingham, Washington. There she designed her own degree in ecology, renewable energy, and social justice. After getting her bachelors, Ravine worked one season at The Crows Farm, an Italian herb and vegetable farm in the Skagit Valley in Washington. From there she worked a season at Chickadee Seed Farm, a diversified vegetable seed saver farm in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

She now is now back to her Wisconsin roots and on to her second season at Wonka’s Harvest. Ravines other hobbies include mushroom and plant identification, foraging, herbalism, climbing mountains (and bluffs), and playing the banjo. Ravine is in the life-long process of gathering information and skills so that she can be the best farmer, community member, and land steward that she can be.
