New Farmer Mentorship Program
For new farmers who are just beginning their journey in agriculture, or more seasoned hands looking to get more into the business side of things, this program is specifically tailored just for you! Learn what it takes to start a farm and how to keep it running and thriving over time.
About the Program
We are new farmers ourselves, and believe that knowledge sharing is one of the greatest things we can do for one another, so this program is us finding one way to do just that. The program is offered in the winter months, since we know that farmers tend to use these slower months off as time to learn, gather resources, and, if you are running a farm, begin your planning. Much of this mentorship is based around planning and operations management, systems building, etc., to help launch you and your new farm into a successful and fulfilling first season in the spring.
This is a three month long program that can be tailored to you (& your cohort’s) needs, learning outcomes, and knowledge levels. Over the course of those three months, there will be six interactive lessons, delivered to you via Zoom with slide decks for each module available via Google Slides. You will gain access to all the resources we have to share with you in a Google drive, including crop planning spreadsheets, templates for systems logging, templates for crop spacing, and more! You will also be added to a Whatsapp group or Discord server (depending on preferences!) connecting you with other mentees from previous years, creating a connected web of farmers who can help each other out!
Enrollment closes January 5th, so sign up now to get a spot in this winter’s program!

The Wonka’s Harvest management team is excited to share what we have learned in our time as farmers and farm managers! We have varying levels and types of experience, so we hope that we will be able to cater to all your learning needs and goals. We’d love to share with you the things we’ve learned and the mistakes we’ve made along the way. We hope that hearing our experiences, and gaining access to some of our resources, will help guide you in whatever your future farming endeavors might be.
